Distilled using the purest natural water from the ballantruan spring, our local whisky truely lives up to it's nickname of "the gentle dram". Amber in colour, with a rounded softness, the Tomintoul 16 year old has hints of hazelnut and candied peel on the nose, with delicate nutty spicy overtones on the palate. The finish is abiding with cream at first and a spicy finale.
